The Bear Inn is the perfect base for exploring Hartfield and the surrounding area. Whether you’re planning on holidaying here in Winnie-the-Pooh country, or simply staying for a night of your walking or cycling tour, you’ll receive a warm welcome at The Bear.

We have four country-styled rooms available, all of which are en suite and the perfect place to rest your feet after a day exploring. A continental breakfast basket is included in your room, with delicious pastries, cereals, fruit & juices available.

POOH

Pooh is a double room at the front of the building, overlooking the beautiful, historic homes on Church Street, so you have a real feel for the village where Christopher Robin and Winnie-the-Pooh once played.

KANGA

Despite the traditional wooden beamed ceiling and diamond leaded windows, our Kanga bedroom has a very light and airy feel to it.

PIGLET

Our twin room (which can also be used as a double) is named after Pooh’s small but brave companion, Piglet.

Situated at the rear of the building, overlooking our garden. Features a decorative fireplace, desk & small seating area.

Tigger is a double bedroom with wooden beams stretching across its ceiling and traditional diamond lead windows, giving a sense of the hundreds of years that this building has been occupied.
